Josh provides each of his clients with accountable, approachable and pragmatic legal services in the areas of commercial litigation, judicial foreclosures, commercial lending and secured transactions, as well as with respect to various real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Settle Meyer Law, Josh was an associate in one of the largest mortgage banking law firms In Hawai‘i, focusing on judicial foreclosures and litigation. Josh also had the unique opportunity to serve as a law clerk in the Circuit Court of the First Circuit of the State of Hawai‘i for both Derrick H.M. Chan, Chief Judge and presiding Judge of the Probate Court, and Richard K. Perkins, Deputy Chief Judge. Furthermore, during law school, Josh spent an entire summer serving as a judicial extern for Michael D. Wilson, Supreme Court Justice, during Justice Wilson's tenure as a Circuit Court Judge. Josh's practical experience navigating civil, criminal and probate disputes with distinguished judges in Hawai‘i and in practice have provided him with the skills and versatility to meet and solve a variety of challenges for his clients.
